MATCH REVIEW

 

DALE DEFEATED
The Dale Young Guns lose 5-2 in the cup away to Penicuik. 
They were outmuscled by the hosts and never really got going at all in the match.
Penicuik raced into an early 2 and made it 3 just before the break. 
The Dale pulled one back after the restart as they tried hard to stay in the tie. A neat back post header from Kai, but the hosts scored again to restore their 3 goal advantage.
Lewis then battled bravely to head past the home keeper to make it 4-2 but as they pressed for another the hosts scored again to kill the tie.
A disappointing result but certainly a learning curve for this very young team.
Thanks again to those who travelled to support the lads, as always it is very much appreciated.
Our next match will be on the 10th January away to  Whitburn.
